I created seven watercolor postcards for this exhibition. All
of these post cards were mailed in Staunton. I painted them,
wrote messages on the back, then mailed them to myself. I took
a photo of the backs which shows the message and the Staunton
postmark. On the back of each framed piece, is a pocket, I put
those photos in a sealed envelope in the pockets. These are for
the eyes of the owner. The above is the postmark from one of
these cards. The watercolors are of the hill at Route 262 and
Interstate 81. The sizes are of the watercolor, not the size
of framed piece. |
