| Our collaboration was to be a piece of jewelry, and of the gates we saw at the White House. We decided to call the piece of work "East meets West". The brooch is 3 inches wide, and has an environment for when it is not worn. It also has a hand tooled chain. | ||

| Andrea made the West Gates out of gold, with diamonds and gemstones. |

| My part, the East Gates, is cut from paper, with gold leaf stars and eagles. |

| The environment, Which hangs on the wall, is about 11 inches x 12 inches, has anti reflective glass, black velvet interior, and a compartment for storing the chain. | ||
